E-invoicing Deadline Checker

The UAE e-invoicing mandate arrives in phases across 2026 and 2027. Find out which phase catches you — and how much time you actually have.

How the rollout works

The UAE is moving business-to-business and business-to-government invoicing to structured electronic invoices exchanged through accredited service providers. The phases are set by revenue, with a pilot and voluntary period running first.

Dates move: the e-invoicing rollout schedule has already been adjusted once by the authorities and further refinement is possible. We re-check the published position with the Ministry of Finance and FTA before advising any client on their specific deadline — please do not plan a system migration from a date on a website, including this one, without confirming it.

What to do with the answer

  • Check your invoicing system. Spreadsheets and manual PDFs will not satisfy a structured-format mandate.
  • Clean your master data. Structured invoices need accurate customer records — legal names, tax registration numbers, addresses.
  • Plan provider selection early, before capacity tightens near the deadline.
