About Al Salmya

A Dubai consultancy built by people who came from the banking side of the table — which changes how we set companies up, and what we tell you before you commit.

Who we are

Al Salmya is a business setup and tax consultancy based at Level 41, Emirates Towers, Sheikh Zayed Road, Dubai. We handle the full arc of establishing and running a UAE company — formation, corporate bank account, visas, Corporate Tax, VAT, accounting and the coming e-invoicing rules — as one relationship rather than a series of disconnected vendors.

Our background is in UAE corporate services, banking and finance rather than in high-volume licence selling. That shapes the advice: we have spent years on the side of the table where applications get assessed, and we know which files get approved and which quietly stall.

What actually makes us different

01

Banking-first

The licence is the easy part. The corporate bank account is where most new companies get stuck for months. We prepare the file the way banks want to receive it, and we tell you honestly if your profile will struggle before you spend money.

02

Compliance-first

We will not sell you the cheapest licence if it creates a tax problem in eighteen months. Every structure is planned around Corporate Tax, VAT and substance from the outset — because unpicking it later costs far more than getting it right now.

03

One relationship

Formation, banking, tax and accounting under one roof means nothing falls between two providers — and the people who filed your returns are the same people who know why your structure looks the way it does.

How we work

1

We start with your customers, not the licence

Where your buyers actually are decides mainland versus free zone. Everything else — cost, visas, tax position — follows from that. Consultants who lead with "which package do you want?" have it backwards.

2

You see government fees separately from ours

Every quote splits authority and government charges from our professional fee. You always know what is a pass-through cost and what you are paying us for.

3

We tell you what will not work

Sometimes the honest answer is that a bank will not open your account yet, or that a facility is not realistic this quarter. Hearing that early is worth more than an optimistic process that fails slowly.

4

The work continues after the licence

Books kept properly, registrations made on time, deadlines flagged before they arrive. This is the part that determines whether your company is easy or painful to run in year two.

The people you will deal with

Small team, direct access. You speak to the person doing the work, not an account manager relaying messages.

Anil

Managing Director

Anil leads Al Salmya and brings the firm its banking and corporate finance perspective, drawn from years working in UAE financial services — the side of the table where applications are assessed rather than submitted.

That background shapes how we advise: structures planned around how banks and the tax authority will actually view them, and an honest read on what will and will not be approved before you commit money to it.

Mahmoud Al Hashmi

Public Relations Officer

Mahmoud is a UAE national and handles Al Salmya's dealings with government departments — licensing authorities, immigration and the approvals that sit between a completed application and an issued document.

A capable PRO is the difference between a process that moves and one that stalls at a counter. Mahmoud manages submissions, follow-ups and clearances so our clients are not the ones chasing them.

Being straight about scope

What we do and do not do. Certain UAE services are reserved for licensed or registered persons — statutory audit is performed by licensed audit firms, and representing a taxpayer before the Federal Tax Authority is reserved for FTA-registered Tax Agents. Where your matter needs one of those, we say so and work alongside an appropriately licensed firm rather than blurring the line. We would rather be clear about the boundary than let you assume something that is not true.

Why 2026 and 2027 matter

The UAE moved from a no-tax jurisdiction to a three-layer compliance regime in under three years. Three dates are currently shaping decisions for most businesses we speak to:

  • Small Business Relief ends for tax periods ending on or before 31 December 2026 — for many small businesses this is the last window to elect zero Corporate Tax.
  • Corporate Tax registration is not optional, including for freelancers and sole establishments with turnover above AED 1 million. The late-registration penalty is AED 10,000. Check whether it applies to you.
  • E-invoicing becomes mandatory through 2027, and most SMEs have not started preparing.

Businesses that plan around these dates pay less and worry less than those that meet them by surprise. That is most of what we do.

Start a conversation

One call is usually enough to know your jurisdiction, your realistic costs and your tax position. It is free, and there is no obligation to proceed. Try the cost calculator first if you would rather see numbers before speaking to anyone.

Frequently asked questions

Level 41, Emirates Towers, Sheikh Zayed Road, Dubai, United Arab Emirates. We work with clients across all the Emirates and with founders setting up in the UAE from overseas.
Yes — that is the point of how we are structured. Formation, corporate bank account support, Corporate Tax, VAT, accounting and e-invoicing readiness sit with one team, so your tax position is planned at setup rather than discovered afterwards.
Representing a taxpayer before the FTA is reserved for FTA-registered Tax Agents. We prepare the underlying records and figures and support you through the process, and where formal representation is required we are explicit about it and work alongside an appropriately registered professional.
Nothing. An initial conversation about your jurisdiction, likely costs and tax position is free. Formal quotations follow in writing, with government and authority fees shown separately from our professional fee.
